Tanintharyi Division is situated on the southernmost part of the Union of Myanmar. It is a narrow long and is jutting out south wards into the sea. On the East and South are Thailand and Thahtaykyun Hotel (Andaman Hotel), on the west is the Andaman Sea and on the north is Mon state. It has an area of 16735.557 square miles.
