Day-01 (14 Aug'08): Yangon Arrival (Lunch/ Dinner)
Arrive at Yangon International Airport, meet and transfer to hotel. Lunch at local restaurant. After Lunch, visit to City Hall & Independence Monument, Botataung Pagoda - the land mark of Yangon's river-front, Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha Image - a colossal reclining Buddha Image; and Shwedagon Pagoda - over 2500 years old the world famous stupa. Welcoming dinner with cultural show at Karaweik Palace Restaurant, built in the style of Myanmar old days king's Royal Budge. Overnight at the hotel in Yangon. |

Day-02 (15 Aug'08): Yangon - Mandalay - Amarapura - Mandalay (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
After breakfast, leave Yangon for Mandalay by domestic flight. Arrive at airport and proceed to Mandalay, the last royal seat of Myanmar Kings. On the way visit to Amarapura, an ancient capital built by the advice of astrologers and U Bein Bridge - 1.2 km long over 200 years old wooden bridge; Mahagandaryone Monastery, where one may observe the daily life of the monks studying Buddha's scriptures and Silk weaving home cottage. Then proceed to Mandalay. Lunch at the local restaurant. After lunch, continue to Mandalay Palace, Shwenandaw Monastery - noted for its exquisite wood carvings, Atumashi Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda-known as the world biggest book, and evening enjoy the sunset view from the Mandalay Hill. Dinner at the local restaurant and day end.
Day-03 (16 Aug'08): Mandalay - Taungbyone Nat (Spirits) Festival - Mandalay (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
After breakfast, about 9 miles drive to Taungbyone Village - a small village nestling quietly among the green fields. Arrival on Taungbyone, enjoy the Taungbyone Nat (Spirits) Festival - the most famous of the Nats or spirits festivals in Myanmar. Lunch at a local restaurant. Evening drive back to Mandalay and dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Mandalay.
Day-04 (17 Aug'08): Mandalay - Mingun - Sagaing - Mandalay (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
After breakfast, boat trip to Mingun where the world largest ringing bell exists. Start visit Pahtodawgyi unfinished Pagoda, Mingun village and environs scene. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, visit to Sagaing Hill, known as the center of meditation. Visit Kaungmudaw Pagoda, an enormous dome shaped pagoda built in 16th century; and Pottery and Silver-smith workshops. Evening, to watch the sunset scene and the panoramic view of the city from Sagaing Hill. Then drive back to Mandalay. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Mandalay.
Day-05 (18 Aug'08): Mandalay - Yangon (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
After breakfast, leave Mandalay flight back to Yangon by domestic flight. Meet & transfer to hotel. On the way visit to Loka Chantha Abhayalabhamuni Buddha Image (Marble Buddha) which is being carved from over 600 tons white marble rock of 37 feet long. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, visit to Bogyoke Market used to called Scott Market, the largest market in Yangon with time to browse among the hundreds of stalls for souvenir bargains, arts & crafts souvenir shopping center. Evening take a walk to China Town where can see the many vendors along the sidewalk & can buy the variety of Myanmar products. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day-06 (19 Aug'08): Yangon Departure (Breakfast)
After breakfast, transfer to airport for departure.
